I haven't received a reply, my order emails, or sample proof emails from you?

If you haven't received any emails or replies from us please contact us right away using the contact form on our site. An email is automatically sent after you make an order. Another is sent when I see and process the order.

- Also check any spam or junk email folders as the emails may be sitting there waiting. Sometimes emails get placed in the spam or junk folder accidentally. This can happen because we use our email address so much.

- I have noticed some emails such as Comcast, Hotmail, Yahoo, Verizon, or others may automatically classify emails as spam and delete them. I have also on rare occasion seen this with Charter emails.

Who made your website, and how often do you update it?

I created this website myself. I handle all php coding, html, images, and graphics. I maintain and service website as well as handle all orders and operations. All questions are answered by me personally.

How long have you been in business?

Me and my wife have been making stickers,decals, graphics and the like since 1999. For about 4 years before that I installed car stereos, car alarms, and we had our own shop doing that as well.








Do you make decals of copyrighted designs or logos?

We do not unless we have a license to do so. Even though we make mostly custom letter decals, I make a strong effort to comb every item on the website to make sure it is not a copyrighted logo or design. If you see anything I have missed please let me know so I can remove it immediately. I will be more than happy to help. Please do not ask if I can make a logo or design that you know to be copyrighted. We are a small husband and wife team business and cannot take risks and also do not believe in selling other persons artwork as decals or other. Thank you.








Can I get a discount?

Though I hate to say no to my customers. I feel I have my prices as low as they can go. If I go any lower then the rent for the shop won't get paid. There are however big discounts for quantity or wholesale purchases. All discounts are listed on the product page, simply choose a quantity larger than one and you will see the discount. The larger the quantity the bigger the discount. Some decal types or product have larger discounts than others. Also feel free to contact me and let me know what your interested in and I'll give you the best price possible.

Is buying from your website safe and secure?

100% safe. Why? We do not store any of your sensitive information. All of your sensitive information and payment info is processed and handled by PayPal. After confirming your order you will be transferred over to PayPal where you can pay with a PayPal balance, a regular credit card, or bank draft.

NOTE: NO, you do not need a PayPal account to be able to purchase. PayPal accepts any Credit Card and checkout is easy, safe, and secure!

We are proud to have used PayPal for well over 10 years as our main payment processor. Why you might ask? PayPal accepts all credit and debit cards as well as bank transfers. We have taken thousands of payments over the years with never a single security issue. Why you might ask, is it so safe? PayPal is one of the most secure sites on planet Earth. Sure. I love pictures. I like to see how you used the decals and others would too! There's two ways to do it. You can email me the pic with some comments and I'll take care of the rest. NOTE: The email link is below the contact form.

For Facebook, head on over to the Facebook page for Full Intensity Grafx. Click LIKE to follow us, receive updates, news, etc. Then post the picture on our wll with any comments. Doing this, others will instantly see the picture.

Will you sell me your C*L*I*P*A*R*T on disk so I can sell the same graphics you do?

Sorry, We do not sell graphics *c*d*s.

It took me many years to hand draw and create, and or vectorize the thousands of designs I have one by one. Many thousands of designs are designs we have purchased from art companies. At the moment we are not interested in selling the clipart in this manner, and due the the legal agreement on many of the art collections we are not allowed to either. Me and my wife like like having a collection that may be different from our competitors.








Do you have a reseller program. Can I sell your graphics on my site?

No. Sorry, but we currently do not offer this option.








Do you sell your graphics wholesale? In batches? Quantities?

We DO offer BIG quantity discounts, which you will see when choosing the quantity for item on the product page. You will get great discounts for custom lettering and decals when choosing larger quantities.

As far as discounts on items from the Main Graphics Catalog, due to the tedious manner of how each decal has to be made, we do not offer wholesale beyond the price listed and discount you get when choosing a quantity larger than one decal.

If you have a design and need a batch of stickers I can usually help and give you a great price. This might be just what you are looking for if using decals for a promotion or a fundraiser. Many times the decals pay for themselves either by profit when you resell, or the advertising itself.

Do you have a mail out printed catalog that I can get?

No, Only an online catalog. The catalog is available online 24/7 with no need to waste paper printing catalogs. Personally I am very interested in protecting the environment and do not think printed catalogs is a good idea. Besides the catalog would have to be HUGE, we have THOUSANDS OF DECALS AND STICKERS!








Do you make T-shirts?

We used to make T-shirts but have since stopped making them. We now are focusing completely on making decals and stickers. Perhaps one day we will do this again!

If I have a picture can you turn it into a sticker?

Possibly, I would need to see it first in order to let you know. You can contact me then I can reply, or use the email address located right under the contact form itself.

What does it involve?

Sometimes I can print the picture as is for a decal. I may be able to print the picture if it is a photo, ie a picture to go along with an In Loving Memory Decal for example and then die cut it to shape. The larger the image the better of course and the print will have a dot matrix style like these sticker examples.


Most times I have to vectorize the design. If it is a LOGO this is usually always necessary. This means converting your bitmap (a bitmap is a pixel based design like website images, photos, etc.), into a design that is line art. This is called a vector. A vector design can be enlarged to any size with zero loss of quality and can be made into die cut decals. The process is sometimes a matter of scanning it, then using an auto-trace program, but many times we have to recreate the art completely line by line, until it is a line art, vector drawing.

One way or another we can usually get it done. The price will vary from design. One type of ideal picture you can provide for a logo would be like a large clear coloring book picture (no shading, just Black & White). If I have to redraw the art a charge will have to be paid in advance depending how complex or involved it is to vectorize.

FILE FORMATS I CAN TAKE: Ideally I can accept vector file formats like .cdr, .ai, .eps. I can however accept just about any format and I will let you know what is involved when you contact me.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Quantity may matter. If the design is complex and the time needed to vectorize the design is great, then the cost may be more than you want to pay if it's for only one decal. I generally cannot accept jobs for a single small decal when time is needed to convert the design. I need to make the job worth it for me as far as time is involved. I am most interested in larger quantity orders when it comes to custom work. Even a few decals may be fine, but design charges may apply. Good news! Many times I can do design work free if your order of quantity is at least of certain amounts. This varies so contact me and let me know. NOTE: I might not be able to accept all custom orders depending on these factors.

You might be surprised at what I can do. I'm easy to work with and the price is usually much lower than anywhere else as my design work is many times free!








Do you make custom designs? Custom work?

Many times, YES, I can custom create a logo using the fonts and graphics I have in stock or draw / design a custom design for you. We can create it one way or another.

Also see Joe's Custom Art page as he can sometimes custom draw a design just for you. Then after he finishes he can send it to me, and we can turn it into decals. Any custom work Joe will do will be a separate transaction / charge to him. He would let you know when you contact him and you can work with Joe directly.

Can you make anything?

Anything is a big word, but yes I can do a lot when it comes to making decals. We have 2 main types of decals. One of which is regular die cut decals, and one is print and cut decals. Feel free to browse the site. You'll see what I can do. Also, see previous questions about custom work and custom designs.








How do I create a family decal on your website?

Go to the family decal creation page. Choose your category (Moms, Dads, etc). The family members in that category will appear. One click to choose one. Then you can add a name, or click the "no name" check box. Your chosen member will appear above. You can add and remove as many family members as you want. Also you can optionally choose fonts (lettering styles), color, and a header for the family sticker. You can add and remove or even move members over by clicking on the buttons under each family member in the sample you created. After your happy you can add the design to your shopping cart. After checkout we will email you a sample of the design you created. Simply reply with an approval and we will ship out you family sticker.

A letter came off my family decal or was missing. Can you send a new replacement letter?

Because of the handmade nature of the family stickers we occasionally can miss a letter on your decals. No problem. Sometimes you may need a letter or two. All I need is your order number and the replacement letters are free. Please contact us and tell me your order number, if you know it, and what letter(s) you need and I'll get them out to you quick free of charge.

Note: It is policy to send missing letters free, not a complete replacement decal. When it arrives, adding the missing letter to your family sticker is very easy.








Which color stands out best on the windows? What color is most popular for a family decal?

White is the most popular. Especially for the family stickers. It stands out very well on the window, tinted or not, and goes with any color vehicle. Other popular color choices are silver, red, gold, and yellow which all stand out good on glass too.

New Matte White. Matte white is rated at 4 years outdoor compared to gloss white at 6 years. Matte White costs a little extra.

I recommend white as the best color for the die cut family sticker decals. Especially if the decal is a gift.

NOTE: If the family sticker will be applied to a light colored surface, like white, you will want to choose black or a dark color.








Is it safe to put the names of our kids on the family decal?

This is a matter of personal preference. I personally think it's fine to put the names but if you don't want the names of your family under the members you can put "Mom, Dad, Brother, Son, Sister, Doggy, etc" ...or leave it blank. If you do order it with the names you can always remove the names before or after application with no problem.

This decision I leave completely up to you the customer so please decide for yourself and carry your decision. If you are in doubt then simply don't add the names.

On an experience note, I had seen people complain that the names are not safe. I have been selling these family decals for over 15 years and have never heard a single issue regarding safety and having the names on a family sticker as far as my customers are concerned. Of course you are familiar with the new overly politically correct world we live in and how some people can be, nothing is safe anymore. Really the decision is finally up to you.








What's the best way to apply my family sticker?

Here's 3 of the most important tips:
(a) Its very important to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol. If you have any oily substance on the glass, like a Rain-X type compound, or wax, grease, etc, the decal will not stick and could be ruined. I once heard a customer tell me they cleaned the window with a baby wipe, which wasn't a good idea, as those can be oily with moisturizing compounds.


(b) I recommend giving the decal a firm squeegee before peeling of the wax paper. The die cut style decals, names, etc are small die cut pieces. They need to be completely adhered to the application layer in order to be applied. As always peel very slow and carefully to separate the application tape layer and the wax paper. If unsure test with the sample decals I include first.


(c) Apply to a dry surface. Don't apply when windy or in direct sunlight. Be in a comfortable environment and don't be afraid to ask a friend for help. Once applied correctly you can enjoy your decal for much time to come!

What size are the family members?

Sizing for the one color die cut style family stickers (VERY POPULAR!):

I usually make the dad around 4 to 4.5 inches tall and go down from there. If there Is a specific size you had in mind just let me know. I'll be glad to accommodate as long as its not too small. Extra large, usually over 6 inches, may cost extra. When you see your sample proof you will see the size noted on top of it. I usually put it at the 4.5 inches for the largest member. Use the request a change link to send me an email and let me know you would like it smaller, as small as about 3 inches or so is possible, or larger, as size of up to 6 inches is usually possible for the same price.

NOTE: Smaller family stickers: Smaller die cut decals are harder to create and the lines will be thinner which could slightly affect longevity.

NOTE: If you add a lot of members and names, header etc, you will have a much larger overall family stickers. You might then want to make sure it will fit when you note the size on top of the sample proof.

After ordering your decal I upload a sample proof graphic (if you leave the default option set to YES) to your order details page. I put the total size of the decal and the size of the largest member on the sample graphic.








What if there is a mistake on the order?

If we made a mistake on your family sticker we will fix the mistake free of charge. We copy and paste all info so it is rare we make a mistake on any spelling. Due to the die cut nature of the family stickers it is possible we accidentally peeled of a small letter or part when we made the decal.

NOTE: To avoid problems please check your sample proof carefully. Also note the color of the sample proof and make sure it is correct as well.

Policy: If there is a small misspelled name or missing letter on your decal we will ship a new replacement name or letter free of charge, even if the fault was yours. This is not a problem. As per policy we will not ship an entire new decal. As these decals are "weeded" out by hand which is a tedious and difficult process, we occasionally will in fact make a mistake.








Will you sell the family decals wholesale or on D-I-S-K?

I'm not interested in selling my designs as C*L*I*P*A*R*T or wholesale.

We want to carry a unique product that is different from any competitor's. We draw all of our designs in house. There may be many others on the web that can help you with this.








How long until I get my sample proof email? I didn't get my sample proof email.

I have to create the design for each and every family sticker. Each sticker is unique. I usually get the sample proof sent soon after order, within and hour or so. On some occasions though may take longer until I can get to your order. This is because I'm either in the process of making orders, eating lunch, or even sleeping for the night, lol. Either way please don't worry. I always send a sample proof and you have 3 days to approve it from the time(date) that I send it.

PLEASE NOTE: Sample proofs are only for family stickers if you leave the option set to YES. It is by default set to YES so by default all family sticker orders will receive a sample proof.

NOTE: Other products DO NOT get a sample proof. The only reason any other product on our site would get a sample proof would be that I have a question about your order, or you specifically requested one before ordering. I would confirm this request as well.

If you don't receive your sample proof email please feel free to contact me, even if it's only been a short time since you placed the order. I will let you know if its been sent and can resend if necessary. Also please check your spam and junk email folder as it is possible my email to you was put there by mistake.

How can I help ensure my family sticker will last as long as it can?

Some cars, and especially new car windows have special coatings that interfere with initial adhesion. Cleaning thoroughly with rubbing alcohol, NOT WINDEX, can help. If you see a rainbow like effect when cleaning then this is the coating. Clean, clean, and clean some more with the alcohol.

Your decals adhesion should last a long time but not always in rare cases.

Note: Family decals have smaller die cut parts than other decal designs so
longevity may vary.

Here's some tips to assure your decal lasts!

Number one and most important, clean surface with rubbing alcohol thoroughly,
especially if it's a new car, you use the car wash Rain-X type compounds, or clean with
polish, wax or other similar chemicals and cleaners. ArmorAll and Rain-X type compounds are
two of a decals worst enemys. A highly waxed surface doesn't help to much
either. You may want to use several napkins and clean several times over
with your alcohol.
Apply in shade to a DRY WINDOW and not in extreme temperatures. hot glass
can make the vinyl softer and stretchy and harder to work with.
Apply from one side to the other to avoid air babbles.
Apply with at least a temperature of 50 degree Fahrenheit. Vinyl
manufacturers recommendation for best initial adhesion, which is important.

I have seen customers complain of a decal coming off a couple times but come
to find later that it was just a problem with a third party who was actually
tampering with the decal.Many times ice scrapers too. Keep ice scrapers away.

One customer I recall had a problem getting his decal to stick. I later found out he had cleaned the window with a baby wipe.

Have an issue with your decal? Please let me know if any of the things mentioned sound familiar in your
case. Like I said, I'm very easy to work with and can send a replacement
in many cases, but honesty is the BEST policy. Letting me know important details
may even help others.








Do I get a sample proof before or after payment?

Sample proofs, if applicable, come after payment only.

Sample proofs are included with family decals orders (if you leave the option to have one set to YES) and any order I might have a question about.

Does the family sticker come as separate decals or one decal?

The one color die cut style family decal comes as one but can be cut apart. End result is same. The reason I make it as one is so you can apply without worrying about misalignment or improper placement of members and their positions.

Full color family stickers, the member part, comes as one piece as long as the family sticker is not longer than 26 inches. If it is they may come as 2 sections. The names and header for the full color family stickers come separate but in one easy to apply line of names, or sentence. They are designed to fit perfectly when applied as one piece and each name will align correctly under each member.

Of course you can always cut apart and apply anything separately if you wish.

Family stickers come with very easy to follow instructions and you can try the free sample decal I send first in case you are unsure.








What is your stance on the safety of having a family sticker on a vehicle window?

I really don't want to get deep into this but here's my view based on selling these for around 15 years and from hearing customer feedback from hundreds or thousands of customers. I don't see an issue and have yet to hear of any problem from a single customer regarding safety. I do however hear from the occasional non-customer who seems to have developed, or "built-up" over time, a sort of pet peeve of hate in regards to seeing other peoples family stickers. Sometimes these people use safety as an issue to crutch hateful opinions about family stickers, or sometimes just any stickers in general. I've yet to see any real related facts to back up the opinion, although I'm not denying that any exist, I just haven't heard of any. My personal take based on experience leans toward the idea of a family sticker being a very fun to own product that fits "almost" everyone and if you don't then that's perfectly OK too.

For more on this topic I'm sure you can Google the subject. You'll find a few threads regarding the subject scattered here and there whereas the hateful posters always seem to have too much time on their hands, or nothing better to do...lol.

Ultimately the decision to purchase a family sticker is left up to you the customer based on the variables that make up your life and your views. I cannot black and white the issue for you either way. The possibilties for almost any action are limitless as you probably see in our world today. Please make up your own mind and purchase, or not, based on it.








I was wondering if there is such a thing as a software to create family stickers? We are a sign shop and would like to get our hands on this.

Not that I know of. Everything I have ever seen is hand drawn. Some collections for sale as C-L-I-P-A-R-T usually with strict licensing and some not for sale but all copyrighted. Our collection is currently not for sale as we like having a product that is unique and different for our customers to enjoy. I have spent countless hours designing, cleaning up, and vectorizing the many I have on my site.








I already paid for a family sticker. How can I give you the list of family members that I want?

If you bought your family sticker from us elsewhere, like our local store or another web purchase, and you already paid and just need the list of members, then click on the small "give me the list" button at the bottom right of the page. Simply choose your members and create your decal as normal then when done click on the button. You'll be taken to the family list page. You can highlight a special part of the list of your chosen members and copy and paste it into a message to me.








Why did I get 2 copies of the family sample proof email?

We send 2 copies just in case your email spam filter accidentally catches one and logs it as spam. Each copy is sent from a different Full Intensity Grafx email This is to better make sure you get your sample.

We also send one order email to the alternate email address, if you optionally entered one on the checkout form. You can also access your order details page, where the sample proof is located, from this basic order email.








What the difference from buying directly from your site and your eBay auction?

When you buy from the site you get a family decal sample sent to your email in the form of a .jpg graphic. You can check the sample and let me know if there are any size changes or position changes that need to made made. Once approved by you, I send the decal the next day (sometimes even the same day) - no waiting. Also when you buy directly from the website here we save your order and you get free replacement letters if needed. Also the shipping charge here on the site is cheaper.

When you buy from the auction you DO NOT get a sample proof, the family figures are sent in the default size. Also regarding the auctions, there is no price. The price is a starting bid and the decal has to be won. Final price will be the end winning price, which may or may not be the starting bid price.








How are the decals ordered from your shopping cart shipped?

All orders are shipped via USPS

Domestic, within USA:
USPS First Class 3-5 day delivery time.
USPS Priority Mail 2-3 day delivery time.

For International orders:
USPS First Class International 2-3 weeks delivery time.

Most decals are placed in a flat bubble envelope. We do not use tubes and have found boxes to be better for the larger decals.

Envelope sizes range from 13 X 8 inches to 18 X 13 inches
Boxes range from 9 X 6 X 6 to 24 X 6 X 6 inches.

All packages include a cardboard stiffener and most items are also bagged. This help keep decals from getting bent. Bending of the decal should not affect application or the end result itself.

Boxed items include bubble wrap and items are also bagged.

All items include instructions, most important tips for applying a Free Full Intensity Grafx logo decal and sometimes other freebies and extras, depending on the size of your order.








Is shipping more than postage?

We charge a shipping and handling fee that help cover more than just the postage. Sometimes it's just a tiny amount more than the actual postage charge.
This very tiny amount can help cover shipping supplies used, and other packaging materials. It also help covers the labor charge to carefully package your item and delivery it to the post office.

Most orders incur a total shipping charge less than five dollars!

UPDATE: Shipping is now usually less than the actually shipping charge but is still flat rate and varies depending on the price of your items. I think you will find our shipping charge extremely affordable.

International orders: We understand the high cost of actual postage rates when shipping internationally outside the USA. Would you believe our shipping charge is almost always LESS than the actual postage charge!








The postman bent my decal. It got folded. Will it be alright?

If your decal got bent or folded in the mail it usually will still work perfectly! The decal is very durable. The decal clings to the plastic application tape, not the wax paper. Both the wax paper and application tape gets discarded after the decal is applied. Lightly squeegee out any wrinkles and apply the decal normally. 99 percent of the time it will still be a perfect application.

When should I expect my decal to arrive in the mail?

All orders are shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service)

Domestic, within USA:
USPS First Class 3-5 day delivery time.
USPS Priority Mail 2-3 day delivery time.

For International orders:
USPS First Class International 2-3 weeks delivery time.

We ship most orders the same day you order it or the next day at the close of business. If you check the Priority checkbox during checkout we hustle and ship your order via USPS Priority Mail as fast as we possibly can, even it's last minute. Only large and custom orders take longer to create.

Turnaround time is usually only 1 day or less for ALL orders!

We ship most orders via USPS First class mail which usually takes about 3-5 days and for those that go Priority Mail this will be about 2-3 days. Shipping times do of course vary greatly by destination.

Will purchasing near a holiday affect shipping times?

Yes. Please don't wait until the last minute when buying gifts online during any holiday season. Holidays can add days, or possibly weeks (especially Christmas) to delivery time depending on which country or state your shipping to. Please contact us if your concerned about getting you package in time and we can recommend an "order by" date.

Have you ever lost a package in shipment?

For domestic orders this is extremely rare. Maybe one or two packages in 10 years was actually lost. Most instances the package is late due to weather or holiday backups, accidentally delivered to a neighbor, or placed in a location at delivery address to keep out of the weather.

Check with your local post office and postman to inquire if this happens to you.

For international orders, well, we used to have quite a few problems. We would do a lot of shipping to Canada and the Canadian customers would contact me about the package that has not arrived. Most times, like 9 out of 10, the customer would contact me prematurely and the normal delivery time of 2-3 weeks for international orders had not been met. International shipping has improved by leaps and bounds since then, and we rarely if ever lose or have a late package.

USPS is just awesome and I have to say, THANK YOU to them. I ship many packages, and indeed, what a great job they do!








Do you have a minimum order total for your website?


Small orders are OK in small quantity and we can handle a few. These orders are for you the customer only as they are counter productive for us and can hurt the business. In part one reason for this is the time needed to create, and pack the order as well as taking the order, printing shipping labels, etc. We are just not set up as a high volume seller. We like to keep the price the same but if receive too many small orders we would eventually have to set a minimum order price, around $10. Help keep us in business and please do not place a small order if possible. If you must please consider adding more items to the cart. Look around, as we have many really cool decals that I'm sure you would love.

UPDATE: As of 7-10-13 we unfortunately had to set a minimum order total for the website to $6.00. We believe this to be fair and still only very small minimum order amount. We are sorry we need to have a minimum order amount but as noted above we are not set up as a high volume seller. Small orders were actually hurting our business. I hate to have to do this but I have not increased shipping or product costs in many years although our costs have increased. Please place at least the minimum order amount in order to continue. If needed we may have to increase minimum order total again. Please support us by browsing the site as we have many really cool decals that I'm sure you would love. I wanted to order some decals in quantity for our team. How can I get a price for this?

Please check the site. You can order many custom lettering decals and other items automatically. On the product page you will see discounts when you choose a quantity greater than one decal.

Custom decal info:
I can most times custom create a logo using the fonts and graphics I have in stock or draw / design a custom design for you. We can create it one way or another. I cannot take all custom jobs so please contact me and I will let you know if I can work with you on your project.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Quantity may matter. If the idea is complex and the time needed to create the custom design is great, then the cost may be more than you want to pay if it's for only one decal. I generally cannot accept jobs for a single small decal when time is needed to convert the design so design charges would apply in this case. I need to make the job worth it for me as far as time is involved. I am most interested in larger quantity orders when it comes to custom work. Even a few decals may be fine, but design charges may apply. Good news! Many times I can do design work free if your order of quantity is at least of certain amounts. This varies so contact me and let me know. NOTE: I might not be able to accept all custom orders depending on these factors.








I wanted to order a decal from your main graphic catalog.Can I add some small text to the decal?

Sure. Use the add text option when ordering. It's located on the same page where you choose the color for the decals. Here is the main decal catalog.

If you happen to be ordering a calvin piss-on decal for example, just note where you need the text positioned in the comments box. Other items in the same main decal catalog might show a wording like ADD TEXT HERE. Same thing, use the add text option.

What many people do and it has more options is this. You can order the custom lettering decal separately here. There are more option possibilities like font choices, and the text can then be a different color if needed.

Remember! When adding text to a decal the text is added to the size of the decal. You can note that you need a sample proof if you are trying to get a specific or exact size.








Which color works best on glass? I'm not sure which color to choose.

The most popular color is definitely white, but any light color works well on glass and stands out well. Of course white stands out best on tinted or not tinted windows. White and light colors also stand out better in dark or dimly lit environments and at night.

If you are ordering a die cut style vinyl decal that is to be applied to a light colored surface, then you would want the opposite. Choose a darker color, or at least on that would contrast enough when applied to the white or light colored surface.

Can I add a small name to the decal I ordered from the main decal catalog?

Sure. Use the add text option when ordering your decal. It's located on the same page where you choose the color for the decals. Here is the main decal catalog.

You can also order the custom lettering decal separately here. There are more option possibilities like font choices, and the name decal can then be a different color if needed. Most people do this.








Can I (clear coat paint / polyurethane/ lacquer) over top of the decal?

Although I've seen many do it with great success this is completely custom. Vinyl is not made for this purpose. Decals are meant to last but also be removable if needed.

I can't recall hearing of any issues from any of my clients who have tried it. It is however something that is custom and experimental and is to be done at your own risk. If you are to attempt I would recommend you try the free sample decal (we give one with every order) first to see how it works for you. Also I'm not totally sure of the long term results, but again I've never heard of an issue. Also see the vehicle graphics FAQ for more info.

UPDATE: For the full color PRINTED DECALS you will want to test with a sample PRINTED DECAL first. I have seen one instance where a customer noted that the print was affected by the coating. I did not find out exactly what brand coating did this but I'd expect it to be a pretty harsh coat of polyurethane or lacquer.








How can I order a Monogram from your custom lettering page? I would like one letter larger.

Just order as usual on our custom vinyl lettering page. Set your length as usual. You can contact me after checkout and I can enlarge the letter of your choice. You may want to cut them apart and stagger the letters too. If this is something you want be sure and let me know so I don't weld the letters together on the decal. If you would like a sample proof please let me know right after you order.

Can you make a decal from an image I provide? If so, what format do you need me to send?

Sometimes. I usually need to see what you have in order to let you know if I can do it or not. I usually have to convert your file into a special format to work with our machines. Design charges for this apply, and it may not be worth it for you if you only want 1 decal. In comparison to other companies my design fee is very reasonable and my experience level is very high.

To save money or eliminate design charges, the best formats and files you can send are either very large clear jpgs, or preferably a vector file. Vector files are graphics that are not pixel based like gifs and jpgs but rather composed of lines and coordinates. All graphics found on the web are jpgs and gifs and need to be converted into a vector file in order to make decals. Vector files usually have a file extension of cdr, ai, or eps.

NOTE: Many times I do not charge ANY design time charges. I will have to charge design time if the order is small, say you only need one decal and it will take much time to prepare it. If you intend to make a purchase of quantity, I can many times do this work free. We help each other!








Is there a warranty for the life of my decal?

There is no guarantee from us on exactly how long the decals will last. Most decals will HOWEVER last anywhere from 6 months to 5 years or even more when applied to the window or vehicle body. What does this mean? It means there are a lot of variables that can affect the life of the decal. I would go as far to say we have had no problems with our decals and how long they last. Our decals are made with either:

Oracal 651 series 6 year vinyl up to 6 years.
Oracal 951 series metallics high performance up to 6 years.
Avery high performance 700 year calendered vinyl up to 6 years.








How long do the decals last? What variables affect the life of them?

Many, many variables affect the life of the decals. Here are some:

-Angle of the surface to which you apply it. 90 degree angles, such as trucks back windows receive less direct sunlight. This decreases fading. A hood install will catch a lot of direct sunlight and heat.
-Amount of time vehicle is in sunlight or out in the weather. If its garage the decal could potentially last forever.
-Temperature extremes. Ultra hot weather could dry out almost any substance, including vinyl decals. Ultra hot weather could eventually cause cracking.
-Over waxing and cleaning. If you love to wax and wash your car every weekend this could slightly affect the life of the decals.
-Not cleaning the window with rubbing alcohol is a big mistake. This is my most important tip to ensure a long decal life. Especially with newer vehicles. Some newer vehicle windows have a slimy like rain-x compound on the glass which needs to be cleaned off.
-Certain colors last longer than others. White resists fading more because, well, its already white. Chrome and mirror gold aren't recommended for outdoor use and tend to only last about 6 months to a year.
-Specialty colors like neon and other may last less compared to regular durable vinyl colors especially with a lot of direct sunlight. Just because it might be a more expensive vinyl this does not mean it will last longer. Many vinyls are designed for flash or short term WOW promos and will not last as long.

The good news is that most graphics will last about 2-5 years or more but there's no guarantee as to how long they will actually last due to the many variables that can affect their longevity.








Does the decal go on the inside or the outside of the window?

All decals go on the outside of the window. The decal can sometimes be reversed to go on the inside of the glass but it won't stand out as well when viewed from the outside. And if the glass is tinted it may not show up at all. Also, if you have kids they will probably tamper with the decal more than anyone on the outside. Most customers rarely have problems with decals applied to their windows. Cleaning the glass with rubbing alcohol will ensure a solid stick.

Will the windshield wipers affect the decal?
The decals usually hold up really well and last. For the most part the wipers won't affect the decals if used occasionally. This can still depend on many factors such as the size of the decal and glass coating & preparation before applying.








How do I remove the decal? Will it affect my paint job if applied to the body?

Removing from glass.
Actually this is pretty easy. I like to use a flat razor and water. Lightly heating the decal may help a little too. If using a heat gun never apply to much heat, heat guns are very powerful and can damage glass or paint quickly. Slowly use the razor flat against glass to get under decal, with some water at the same time. The decal should come right off, along with the glue!

Removing for painted surface like body of a vehicle:
This can sometimes take more time than applying the graphics. Peel slowly as not to remove any paint (very rare) and if it leaves some glue you can remove it with adhesive and glue remover sold at most auto parts store and even Walmart. NOTE: Test surface area first as noted on any glue remover you purchase! You also may try heating the graphic a little with a heat gun. Be careful, heat guns get really hot and could damage the surface if to much heat is applied. Decals left on for many years will be much harder to remove. Time and patience is key.

Will it affect the paint appearance after removed?
Possibly. Why you ask? The normal paint of a vehicle does fade over time. Underneath the decal the paint will not fade. After many years it might be possible to see a slight difference wheres the paint has faded, but not under the decal. Sunlight and heat will affect hood and top much more than sides of a vehicle.

Will it remove paint?
If you have an aftermarket paint job and they didn't prep/sand the surface well before painting then yes, it could possibly remove the paint. I have seen this happen with my own paint job on a truck I had long ago. I got one of those quick cheap paint jobs from Earl Shieb. When I peeled decal I did to fast and paint came with it! To prevent this you may want to heat the graphic a little and peel super slowly at a sharp angle in the other direction. You shouldn't have to worry about a factory paint job but I would still use caution when removing.

I have bubbles in my decal after applying it. Is there a way to remove them?

There is almost always a few bubbles in any decal after applying. This is completely normal, especially with multicolor (layered) decals, where the colors join. Most will go away by themselves after a week or two. You may also pop them with a pin or razor and force out the trapped air. If you applied the decal with the wet method, the bubbles will evaporate and be gone in about a week in the warm sun.








The application tape looks wrinkled or bubbled up after I opened my package and laid the decal out flat. Will this affect the decal?

This happens sometimes because the paper expands differently than the application tape due to changes in warmer temperature. Usually by leaving the decal in a cool area like a dry air conditioned room, the wrinkles will go away. You could also try to lightly squeegee the decal with a vinyl squeegee or if you don't have one, a firm drivers license or credit card will work. This usually does the trick. If not peel the backing paper off the decal slowly and reapply it to the wax paper carefully one side at a time. Also see the wrinkled decal tip's page.








I messed up my decal when putting it on. Can you make me a new one?

Please be extra patient applying the decals and see the decal application instructions and tips page. If you do happen to mess it up then contact me and let me know what happened. Please be truthful because I know when you're not. Trust me, Ive heard it all.

Don't worry... Just let me know what happened and I'll try to help. I can usually provide replacement parts of a decal free or offer a greatly reduce price for a second.








I left my decal in the sun and now it looks all wrinkled up. Is it ruined?

This happens due to temperature changes between the application tape and wax paper cause the 2 different materials to expand or contract to different sizes. Leave the decal in a cool, or air conditioned room for a while, sometimes overnight and the decal should go back to normal.








Does the temperature outside affect application of my decal in any way?

Yes. I do not recommend applying you decal in cold weather 50 degrees or below. The same, I do not recommend applying in hot extremes, or in direct sunlight.

I recommend to always test with the sample decal first. We always send a sample decal of our logo with every order that you can try first if unsure. Please read the included most important tips as well.

It is very important to clean the surface to which you are applying with rubbing alcohol, apply to a dry surface, and do not apply in direct sunlight or windy weather conditions. It is best to apply decal in a cool and comfortable environment. Please see the decal application instructions page for more on this.








How long can I wait or hold the decal before installing.

I would recommend installing the decal within at least with in a couple months of purchase. If you plan on holding it longer there could be a chance that some variables such as temperature or other may have affected the properties of the material. This may make it harder or impossible to apply later. If you must wait it's best to store in a cool dry place until application. If you know that you will be waiting to apply it then I would recommend you purchase the decal in a time frame closer to the time you intend on applying it.

For those concerned about cold weather. We have upgraded most colors to high performance vinyl which can withstand cold very well. While there can still be a small chance that an extreme cold spell can affect the decal it's usually a matter of tampering, such as scraping ice from the glass, while the decal is in a frozen state. If you follow our cold weather tips completely your decal has a very good chance of surviving not only 1 winter but many.








Why would I want vehicle or boat graphics?

Why put Vinyl Graphics on your vehicle compared to painting the designs on? Well, for many the answer is easy. Vinyl offers a durable yet changeable solution. Do you get tired of looking at the same car or truck day in a day out? Then this might be a great solution for you! With the ability to change the look of you vehicle quickly and easily you can also switch the design as often as you want. We offer 1000's of designs and many color combinations to choose from. Vinyl graphics are also very affordable compared to painting the design on. Usually a pair of flames, for example, will cost anywhere from 30 to 80 dollars for the set. As for paint, the cost will usually be much, much more. Durability of the graphics varies. Usually one can expect a 3 to 6 year life or longer.

Are they easy to apply?

I'm not gonna lie. It is moderately easy when applying to a flat or slightly contoured surface but if your crossing a side molding or applying to a rounded surface it may be difficult and require a lot of patience. Of course the larger you go then it may be a little harder. For example if you applying a set of 5 foot long graphics, well this of course will be easier than applying a set that is 10 foot long. The larger you go, expect it to be more difficult and need more patience. In general most people use the wet method, and or a combination of the wet method with my half and half method (see the application instructions page) and the graphics are basically easy to apply. If you are not at all a do it yourself-er you might want to hire a professional to apply the graphics.








Are they easy to remove?

How do you price vehicle and boat graphics?

Our site will do this automatically when you choose your color and size.
Basically though:

6 inches wide or less between $2.5 - $4 per foot for the length of the graphics.

7-13 inches wide approximately $5 per foot.

14-22 inches wide approximately $7.50 per foot.

Buying a pair or just one graphic affects the price slightly. All prices are calculated automatically when you choose a graphic and set your size.








How long do vehicle and boat graphics last?

Most vinyl we use is rated at 5-6 years outdoor. Most vehicle and boat graphics will last this long or more but weather conditions and many other variables can affect its life either way.

Many, many variables affect the life of the decals. Here are some:

-Angle of the surface to which you apply it. 90 degree angles, such as trucks back windows receive less direct sunlight. This decreases fading. A hood install will catch a lot of direct sunlight and heat.
-Amount of time vehicle is in sunlight or out in the weather. If its garage the decal could potentially last forever.
-Temperature extremes. Ultra hot weather could dry out almost any substance, including vinyl decals. Ultra hot weather could eventually cause cracking.
-Over waxing and cleaning. If you love to wax and wash your car every weekend this could slightly affect the life of the decals.
-Not cleaning the window with rubbing alcohol is a big mistake. This is my most important tip to ensure a long decal life. Especially with newer vehicles. Some newer vehicle windows have a slimy like rain-x compound on the glass which needs to be cleaned off.
-Certain colors last longer than others. White resists fading more because, well, its already white. Chrome and mirror gold aren't recommended for outdoor use and tend to only last about 6 months to a year.

The good news is that most VEHICLE AND BOAT GRAPHICS will last about 2-5 years or more but there's no guarantee as to how long they will actually last due to the many variables that can affect their longevity.

On a personal note, I have used vinyl graphics on many of my vehicles and my family has used them on many salt water fishing boats. The vinyl has always surprised me at it's extreme durability and far exceeded my expectations. I have also heard from many customers the same exact thing.








Is there a warranty?

All graphics are custom made for you in the size and color you choose at time of purchase so there is no warranty or returns allowed. All vinyl vehicle graphics are test inspected before shipment. Please see our feedback. We very, very rarely have had anyone with a problem regarding this matter.








What if I mess them up putting them on?

I save all orders for a period of at least a few months. This way I can resell you any part or piece of the graphics. If you mess up applying a section, don't worry. You can simply buy the section you messed up.








Will it fit my ride?

I highly recommend measuring your area carefully. The graphics usually fit most vehicles but this is up to you to determine. Not everyone is a "do it yourself-er" so if you don't feel comfortable buying graphics online you could most likely take your vehicle to someone that has a shop and applies the graphics they sell - just be prepared to pay, and sometimes pay a lot. Because we custom make the graphics in the exact size and color you choose there are no refunds or exchanges due to the wrong size.








How long have you been making vehicle graphics and boat decals?

We been doing it for over 15 years now. We know all the tricks and tips, like rounding slightly all pointy corners of the graphics, to make sure you get a great product! On each order I process I apply my experience and make tiny tweaks and any needed fixes or change to ensure you receive only the best.








Is this a good deal?

I would say YES but of course I am bias. I think you will find our price substantially lower than most graphics shops. I recommend everyone shop around to find the best price, of course I wouldn't be in business everyone didn't come back after doing so. I hope you love our products and I'm proud to make only the best in vinyl graphics for you!








Does a custom decal / sticker make a good Christmas gift?

Oh yes! Something unique, custom, a perfect fit for that special someones personality! Plus the decal when applied correctly should last for many Christmas seasons to come! I have many customers that come back to add to their decals years later. Of course we have no problem matching it to the last order because we save the details of every decal you order. Sometimes it even surprises me when a customer adds a stick figure member to their family decal sticker. I look up the order and can't believe either how many new members they have added to their growing family, or the fact that the original is still going...lol.

Will it make it before Christmas?

We always try to create and ship same day as payment. This is a huge plus because as long as there are no shipping delays you will receive quickly. See details below for more in regards to where we will be shipping to and how it affects delivery times.

For USA orders: I believe all USA orders will have no problem making it in time. You might want to go Priority mail if it gets closer to Christmas. Of course delays can and do happen. Hopefully everyone will get there package in time

For Canada, UK, AUS, and other International orders: I recommend placing any international order before Thanksgiving! I always recommend at least ordering before Thanksgiving but the earlier you order, of course the better chance you have for a timely arrival. Holidays greatly increase shipping times.








Will a change to my order after I order it delay it at all?

Approved and ready orders will have shipping priority. If you need to request a change or have a question about your order it could delay your order for 1 day. This is because we have to wait for your reply from our answer and make any changes that are needed. Please make sure your order is correct before adding to cart and checking out to avoid delays. If you do need a change you could let us know the change needed and tell us just to make the change and ship. We will use our best judgement in making the change as we see fit.








Do your standard shipping times noted on the site still apply for Holidays?

No, not always. Holidays can increase shipping times. Place order early to help ensure on time delivery. See the above question in the FAQ titled Shipping and Packaging for more info about shipping in general and shipping during any holiday.








I live in CANADA or other country besides USA. When should I place my order to make sure it will arrive?

I would highly recommend all international orders be placed before Thanksgiving. Especially with Canada, I usually see taking three weeks without a holiday near, could take even longer with a holiday approaching. Placing orders before Thanksgiving will help to ensure it arrives. Normal international shipping times are around 2-3 weeks, and holidays can and do increase this shipping time on many occasions.








Can you Express Mail my order?

Yes. You might have to contact me so we can make arrangements. Note the arrangements and communication via email can take time away when time is of essence. Please make any communication clear and concise and be prepared to respond quickly to our answer as well.

NOTE! We also need to make sure that we can and are willing to accept your job if it is any custom work.

Express Mail USPS 1-3 days service is very expensive, many times more than the order itself. We will only ship using USPS Express Mail if you have, and pay with, a confirmed address through PayPal.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Your order will be rejected if you choose Express Mail and do not pay with PayPal and a confirmed address!








All other international shipping countries (any country besides the USA), for a Christmas GIFT, when should I order?

To help ensure your package arrives before Christmas I recommend placing your order before Thanksgiving, the earlier the better!








Can I pay with any regular credit card? Do I need a PayPal account?

You do not need a PayPal account to be able to purchase. PayPal accepts any Credit Card and checkout is easy, safe, and secure! PayPal is a payment processor just like any other, it simply allows for the OPTION to also have an account.

YES, you can pay with any regular credit card. When you get to PayPal you will see small text on the left of the page that says...

Don't have a PayPal account?
Use your credit card or bank account (where available). THEN CLICK Continue.

Instead of logging in with a PayPal password, Just click the word continue to pay with any regular credit card or bank draft/echeck. Easy!

Note: If you do have a PayPal account and would rather use a Credit Card, simply use any email address not associated with a PayPal account.

We are proud to have used PayPal for well over 10 years as our main payment processor. Why you might ask? PayPal accepts all credit and debit cards as well as bank transfers. We have taken thousands of payments over the years with never a single security issue. Why you might ask, is it so safe? PayPal is one of the most secure sites on planet Earth. Sellers do NOT see your credit card information or even billing info. Any sensitive info is stored only with PayPal. The seller, which is me half of the time, at least when you buy decals, only sees your payment and "ship to" address, that's it! Also PayPal is great because it optionally allows you to have an account with them. You can fill it will funds and use PayPal to checkout at any site on the web with a couple clicks. No need for even a credit card. Safe, secure, and highly recommended by me.








Do you store any sensitive information on your site?

No, all sensitive information is handled by PayPal which is one of the most secure websites on the planet. You are transferred to PayPal to handle payment in the final step of our checkout process. The only information we store is your name, address, and order details.








Can I pay with money order?

Yes. Although not generally recommended we can still accept a money order.
For many reasons we recommend payment through PayPal. It is faster and very secure.
To pay with money order you will have to contact me. After you enter you name and address on our checkout and press continue we automatically receive all of your order info. Then contact me and let me know you want to pay with money order. Just provide your name and we can look up the order. I will then send an email with further instructions.








My refunded payment for a payment made in error has not shown up on my statement yet?

Please contact your bank and or PayPal. The only thing I can do from my control panel in PayPal is refund the payment that was received. It's likely that PayPal or your bank has not yet processed the refund. I've heard this many times from customers in the past and that is usually the case. On your statement any payments made to us will show up as GDG.








What will appear on my statement as the billing name?

We use and abbreviation of our previous company name GrafxDosGueros. The payment will show up on your statement as a payment to GDG.








PayPal is not accepting my card, can you help?

I can give advice from what I've seen happen in the past but since I do not handle any payments directly, so you might have to contact PayPal or your Credit Card company for direct support of this issue.

Also, if paying with a debit or credit card at PayPal: Try using an email address not associated with PayPal.

PayPal does accept all major credit cards. Generally we do not have issues with customers paying. If paying with a Credit Card, there is one thing you can try. Use a different email address at PayPal and make sure it is not an email address that is associated with a PayPal account.

Where is Waldo?

There are some questions, well, I just can't answer for you! If you ask me this question, please do not expect any response.








Do you make ghost flames?

Ghost flames, from what I have always known, are simply vehicle graphics that are a very similar color to the surface to which you are applying your decals. Please see my available colors. You might find one that will work well for this purpose. IF you need a sample of the color you can contact me and I can mail you a sample of it.








My tracking number shows the package was delivered but I do not have it. Do you have any advice?

I only have limited info based on my experience. Your mail delivery person actually marked it delivered with his scanner, it would be best to ask him as soon as possible or see the PO as it could be there awaiting pickup.

Here is a few things I have learned when a couple others contacted me about delivery over the years. These actually happened.

-Item is at PO awaiting pickup, was too large to fit in your box. Notice was lost or picked up by a family member.
-Item was accidentally delivered to a neighbor by mistake of delivery person.
-Item was placed on your property but perhaps in a location to keep it out of the weather.
-Item was already brought inside by another friend or family member.

Regardless, please ask your PO or delivery person about deliver issues. They should have more information.
The USPS gives me the same info as you, pretty much only the tracking info after I take your package to the PO.

All about SAMPLE PROOFS. Who will get one, reasons for, including questions about your order, website limitations, and some items require or have an option to get one.

Some items on the site have an option to get a sample proof. It is clearly listed for any products that have this option. Some items have the default checked, as to receive a sample proof. On all items that have this option the sample proof option is next to the add to cart button following by a link that takes you lower on the page to read about sample proof details and how it works.

Other reasons that you might get a sample proof include but are not limited to:

-I have a question about your order. I may choose to send a sample proof if your options chosen for a custom decal or other do not work well or I simply have a question and what to show you graphically, with a sample proof image.

-Website limitations. Some products or effects need to be created and designed professionally using special software by a graphic designer, usually me, John. The website is not always able to create certain effects so you might want to tell me that you want a sample proof for certain cases. An example would be the curved custom text option. Because the website has a limitation generating a preview, ie it cannot illustrate exactly how the decal will look, you might want a sample proof to clearly show you. Also feel free to contact me anytime about questions. If you do want a sample proof and it doesn't appear as an option for the product you are ordering, please feel free to let me know right after payment. I will send sample proof emails to you and will not make the product until you see it.

About sample proofs:

-Sample proofs come after payment only. I create one usually about or within an hour after you submit your order but this can be a rough estimate. My business hours may differ from yours or situations may arise that delay this general statement. Nevertheless a sample proof will surely come within 24 hours from the time you place your order.

-Sample proofs are uploaded by me to your order details page here on the site. I do not email the image. You can see the proof by clicking on the link in your sample proof email, or using the My Order Page link, it is the last link on the main menu, on the left, on our homepage.

-Please approve your sample proof or respond to the question being asked in the proof. We hold order until it is approved and you are happy with it.

-Many times this happens, and it can be likely depending on your email client and provider, my sample proof emails to you are accidentally marked as spam or junk. Please double check with me if you do not receive your sample proof email, and check your spam slash junk email folder for our email. I do keep resending the email regarding your proof, and even do so with different email addresses in order to help assure you get my email.

Please read specific sample proof details in the pages that offer it as an option. Also if you have any questions about you order, or about what you are ordering feel free to ask me in advance.








Can I call you? Do you have a phone?

We no longer use a phone for our decal business. For years we had a business phone but it mostly rang after business hours, or late at night. This is because we ship worldwide. With email communication we will answer as soon as possible. We will have a record of all conversation which helps us to manage jobs better. We also save on the expense which helps us to keep prices low. This just works better for us.

We understand if you need to do business by phone but we are now an email only business. All correspondence will be by email. We understand if you would rather shop elsewhere because of this part of our operation.








Is USPS Priority Mail a guaranteed service? Will my package be here in 2-3 days if I use this service?

USPS Priority Mail is not a guaranteed service. It has a great track record of arriving in 2-3 days but there is no guarantee provided by the USPS that the package will arrive 100% for sure in 2-3 days. Usually to most locations I do see almost all packages do in fact arrive within the 3 day period.

Please note we have to create your decals as well. Your order will usually ship the same day if you order before about 2 pm Eastern Time. We ship everyday at about 5 pm Eastern time. Please do not count the day we make the decal as part of the shipping services quoted delivery time.

We ship all packages using USPS mail.








ARGH! Is my package delayed?

Package delays; the worst email I can get from a client because I am really saddened to hear that any of our packages are delayed or late in transit. Unfortunately it does happen. Even if your choose the quick shipping option it is possible, although still quite rare, that your package could be delayed. This is more common during holidays.
Please check your tracking number on the PayPal shipping email you received after I print your shipping label. This email is titled "Your package is on the way". Upon clicking the email you will be taken to USPS.com where your can check the status of your order in transit. You can also sign up for USPS tracking updates or I can do that for you. Please check the dates on the tracking email and you will note we shipped your email the same day you paid for your order, or the next day if you ordered after packages already left for the day.

Also I want to thank everyone for their patience and courtesy. We both rely on a third party, which is the USPS, to do the actual shipping.

International orders: Sorry, as noted during checkout and in this FAQ, there is no tracking for international orders beyond the United States borders.








How thick in the vinyl itself?

The Oracal 615 series 6 Year is 2.5 mil. This is the vinyl we use the most, and most of the regular colors we have are this brand. High performance vinyl is quite a bit thinner. Reflective specialty vinyl is much thicker.








How can I get Free Decals? Free Sticker Sample Packs!

To receive FREE decals in the mail once in a while, place any order of $25 or more and check the box at checkout that says: Receive Free decals in the mail once in a while. Lore and I try to send out some while supplies last, about every months or so. For 2017 we sent out several thousands envelopes stuffed with FREE decals and vinyl stickers. Random decal designs, while supplies last, mailing list reset every 6 months to a year depending on its size.
