It’s 2019, summer is in full swing! Can you believe it? And as time flies, we make a lot of vinyl decals, and gratefully, receive quite a few photos from our happy clients. Our favorite part of the job! Here’s a few cool highlights from of the first half of 2019. See how our clients are using their decals in very creative ways, and hopefully and perhaps, likely, these creative folks will spark the inspiration in others. And without further ado, here’s the first of 5 “vinyl graphics” customer’s ride’s highlights…
Vicki was ecstatic after applying her custom “In Loving Memory” decal—and for good reason. It’s a beautiful tribute. And while this form of tribute is just one of countless, and some people choose to express themselves in other ways, we believe, as do many of our happy clients, that this is a fantastic and creative way to create a stunning memorial. Vinyl “In Loving Memory” decals can be a simple, effective, and elegant way to create a memorial by being applied to many substrates, which doesn’t only include car windows. Apply these decals to most smooth surfaces such as painted metal and wood, plexiglass, mirrors and more.
Grant’s Hummer, customized with vinyl decals and—so much more! Wow! We get sent quite a few photos, so the choice to only highlight five to keep this post pithy and powerful, is not an easy decision. But Grant’s ride is a top contender, making the decision easy. We worked together to make several custom graphics for his hummer, and as well Grant used our website to design some custom lettering decals of his own. Personalized to a whole new level, Grant’s Humvee will surely win some awards if entered into car shows this summer! A top contender. And I’d like to thanks Grant for his business, and for sending us these photos. We had a great time working together!
Scott has gotten few decals from us, but his ride is deserving of serious note. Scott’s very clean Ford Mustang, with few, yes, only a few vinyl graphics! Sometimes it’s all about the details, and less is more. He ordered a few small decals that added just the touch he was looking for, and in this case, surely, that was all that was needed. Fantastic ride, Scott. Great job. We appreciate your business, and were excited to receive your photos. As for everyone, please send us your pictures or them share with us on Facebook We loved to see how our decals have been used, and love interacting with you!
I get asked about so-called “ghost” flames from time to time. And with vinyl, where there are so few colors compared to paint, this look can be achieved like this. Pick a vinyl color that is almost as dark—or light if you paint color is lighter—as your ride. Here, this client chose a dark color vinyl called carbon fiber gun metal black, for his truck graphics, and applied it to his black Ford pickup, and you can see the result. Not flashy, not too much, just right and still very different and very cool compared to all the plain-jane rides out and about. Sometimes simple is best, in the name of rolling hard, but very clean. I loved this picture for many reasons, and it’s surely one of the favorites of my client’s ride’s pictures!
Next up, a very clean Jeep Wrangler with very few decals, and in this case one could go either way. You could add more, or decide to keep it clean. This client chose the clean route, with only one decal, a front windshield decal not in bright “stand-out” white, but dark gray. And this effect brilliantly manages to keep the sharp clean look of this very nice ride, without overdoing it. Although, with vinyl graphics, you can experiment, remove them for a change, and try different things until you achieve just the look you are going for.
That’s it for now. But subscribe and stay tuned. Also, follow us on our Facebook page for Full Intensity Grafx, and Instagram and Twitter. I’ll be highlighting many more cool rides, as well as posting photos demonstrating other ways our clients have managed to be creative with their vinyl decals and graphics. And, send us your ride and we will share your pictures with the world.
