Is it safe to put a Family Sticker on your car window?

December 30, 2019 by John

Is it safe? Should I put a family sticker on my vehicle’s back window? A list of Pros and Cons.

family car stickerOkay, let me begin by being blunt. If you are worried about it, then placing a family sticker for the world to see, on the back window of your car, might remain a thing of worry for you. Of course, this sense of concern could apply to many things. But continuing, if you have searched this question, arriving here on my blog, then putting a family sticker on your car’s back window might not be right for you. Though, you might want to continue reading. I have some good news!

Not everything is right, for everyone.

All that aside and out of the way, let’s discuss some pros and cons. And let me begin by saying, my wife and I have created these family stickers (to be applied to just about any smooth surface, not just vehicle windows) for years, and I’m not trying to sell a product here. But, and of course, if at the end of this short blog post you feel you would like to order a family sticker—or any decal, vinyl graphics product—from us (or anyone on the web), then by all means…

Large family sticker on back windowAs are so many things in this world, family stickers are a method of expression. Not just look at me, but this particular outlet comes with an overwhelming sense of pride and joy that comes with being a parent or being someone who wants to shout to the world know what their family means to them. So let’s move on to the pros and cons.

Zombie Family Sticker in White VinylPros: reasons for applying a family sticker to your car’s back window…

  • Like countless things in today’s fast-paced world, family stickers (like In Loving Memory Decals, etc.) are just another way of expressing yourself.
  • Apply family stickers not only to car’s back windows, and trucks and RVs and boats, etc., but apply a family sticker to just about any smooth surface: a plaque, front door welcome sign, mailbox, folder, laptop, phone case, even a wall inside your home or RV, or on a mirror. The list goes on and on…
  • It’s a release. You want to let the world know what and who you love and how you feel. You could climb a mountain and shout it, and feel like doing so, but applying a family sticker to your car window works too.
  • You’re fun to be around. You like cool, wacky, trendy, neat, unique, and/or wild, carefree, and fun things, and you love letting people know. You love shouting out to the world that your family members are just as cool as your are, each with their own quirks (choose a different family sticker design for each member), and it’s just something that you would like to do.
  • Decorate! You love crafts. You are artistic, outgoing, and extroverted. You love changing it up once and a while to keep things fresh.

Photography Mom Jet Ski Girl and Boy Family StickerCons: reasons you might not want to apply a family sticker to your vehicle’s back window…

  • You didn’t know that family stickers could be applied to just about any smooth surface, and you just got an idea for a cool gift or craft (so you decide to forget reading the rest of the cons and make it happen).
  • You worry sometimes. The world can be a bad place, and you don’t want to draw unnecessary attention to yourself or anyone in your family.
  • It’s just not for you. You’re not enthusiastic about creating a family sticker, or applying one to your vehicle’s window. Simple as that. Some things you like, some you don’t, and this isn’t something that floats your boat.
  • You’re worried that someone my use the names of the members of your family sticker, or any trait or quality of the design you have chosen, against you or you family in a malicious way. NOTE: Names on the family sticker are optional, and most people don’t add them unless it’s for a craft other than being applied to a vehicle’s window.
Cat Lady Cat Lover Family Sticker
This client designed a custom cat lover family sticker using our website!

Now, all that said, and again, I was not trying to sell you a product here. Ultimately, you must decide what you want. If it’s not for you, that is perfectly okay, the world is a big place and everyone likes different things.

Cool Family Decals
Family stickers are not just for car windows. Here, some of our customers have applied them to beds, RVs, and more. Be creative!

A final note… Lore and I—Full Intensity Grafx—have made cool family stickers for almost 20 years and have yet to hear of a single bad experience. We’re artistic, we’re outgoing, we’re small business owners, and we love making families happy with our unique products! So, if you decide to give it a go and purchase a product from us, please send us a picture using our Facebook page or the email address beneath our contact us form. We love seeing the way you and your family express yourselves by way of crafts you have created, how you have decorated your vehicle, boat, etc., or even, that cool family sticker sign you made for the mantle above your fireplace. Anything!

Love Me Hate Me It Won't Break Me Sticker Decal
Love me or hate me, It won’t make or break me. A Custom lettering decal I love this idea. It’s a decal ordered by one of our customers, many years ago, and one of my all-time favorites. A bold and simple statement: there will always be haters, it’s a big, big world, and not everything is for everyone, but it won’t stop me from doing what I enjoy, it won’t stop me from expressing myself, it won’t stop me from being me! We must all be tolerant, and understanding of each other’s interests, likes and dislikes.

Full Intensity Vinyl Graphics 2019 Year-End Review: Client Sent-In Rides and Creations

December 28, 2019 by John

Full Intensity Graphics I LOVE VINYL DECAL BulldogFull Intensity Grafx!

And here we go with this years Vinyl Graphics 2019 year-end review…

What a year 2019 was, and we loved receiving every one of your sent-in photos. We enjoyed not only creating your vinyl graphics, but especially loved seeing what you did with the graphics and decals we made for you. It has truly been a pleasure, and we can’t wait for more in 2020, which is almost here. Because we are ready to work—FOR YOU!

Now, let’s kick off this countdown! This first blog post will showcase some of our favorite rides, boats, cool decal creations of 2019, and many of the awesome things you sent us a picture of. NOTE: We will be updating this post with more cool rides as we dig them up.

Part 1, of more to come: The Client Send-Ins! And without further ado…

Making Tim’s idea reality true was a pleasure. His boat sports custom sapphire blue and baby blue vinyl using 6-year Oracal vinyl, custom designs, with a custom fit. These graphics should last for years on Tim’s now, one-of-a-kind customized Florida fishing boat. Cool boat graphics, and it was great going back and forth with Tim to make his MOANA boat, with custom-drawn artwork he provided, a reality! TAGS: boat graphics, boat vinyl, fishing decals, saltwater durable decals, waterproof stickers for boats, boat custom designs
HIGHWAY TO HELL! Grant has been with us for years, and he loves to think outside the box. As you can see here! His HUMMER is extraordinarily amazing, one of a kind. IT ROCKS! He says people come up to him all the time, commenting about and complimenting his ride, and remarking about the cool custom decals and graphics he added to it for the ultimate in personalization and customization. Nice job, Grant. You really wowed us with these photos. The decals look great on your HUMVEE A great 2019 is has been and we are looking forward to what else your creative mind will think up. LETS DO IT!
We can’t forget how excited Vicki was after receiving and then applying her custom In Loving Memory decals. This is one of the cleanest memorial decal client send-in pictures we had received and it definitely looks clean on her ride!
Joe’s Dodge RAM truck with BORLA Exhaust, is “ROLLING THUNDER!” One of the sharpest, cleanest and meanest looking rides we have had the pleasure of having Full Intensity Grafx on. A real head-turner with the mega bright orange vinyl and that deep charcoal gray paint. Joe didn’t get the APE DECAL from us, but we did suggest redoing it to match, as well as inverting the ape so the colors are reversed. Well, we’ll see what else is in store for this super cool RAM TRUCK as 2020 unfolds. Looking forward to more business with Joe. FYI: Take a look at our customers ride’s section on our main website. Joe has been with us for years and has a really cool anti-bullying FORD LTD1 | anti-bullying FORD LTD2 that he has been customizing with RED DECALS. It’s hard to miss when it’s cruising the streets and schools in KY on the lookout for bullies to halt in their tracks!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN! This client made some cool Halloween custom lettering decals in 2019. What a yard full! And a great Halloween of 2019 it was, especially if you went overboard, because this is AWESOME! These were made in orange-red Oracal 651 series six-year vinyl color and the client chose a cool fire font for the custom lettering stickers. I can only imagine what the trick-or-treaters thought! GASP!
Chris’ ride, REMADE! Because of a certain situation we recreated the custom vinyl graphics on Chris’ Ram truck. The silver vinyl stayed the same, but Chris decided to go bright with the RED. And does it pop. I imagine his truck stands out above all thee rest while cruising the beach. Way to go, Chris. Congrats on some very cool vinyl graphics on one extra cool Dodge Ram!
Craig at Nikki’s Dawgs has been with us for years and we always LOVE to hear what Craig and his team at Nikki’s Dawgs, fellow small business owners, have in mind for signage and promo. Nikki’s Dawgs sports popping signs and cool custom lettering using the bright orange and thee sapphire blue high gloss vinyl, plus the coolest fonts for their custom stickers. Here’s to another great year. Happy New Year to Craig and the team over at Nikki’s Dawgs, and CHEERS to all small business owners! THINK BIG, SHOP SMALL, SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS! FYI: Need custom graphics, custom text decals, business stickers and signage? Full Intensity Grafx has been at it for over 20 years. We got your back!
Another great example of a memorial decal. This In Loving Memory decal is centered on the cars back window, but the custom In Loving Memory Stickers can be applied to almost any smooth surface. We also made this hot pink custom PRINCESS decal at the client’s request.
Another of Grant’s customized rides! CLEAN! While not overdoing it. This black ride sports some of our vehicle graphics designs in the color Olympic Blue.
Not only for rides. For ROCKIN’ Neon fluorescent custom lettering decals applied to, yes, an electric guitar! WAY TO ROCK! These use our green, red, orange, and pink selection of neon vinyl for custom lettering made in your choice of font and size. The fluorescent vinyl lasts less applied outdoor, typically about 1-2 years and is recommended when you really wanna hit hard! Short term promos, or promos that last two years! ROCK ON!

STAY TUNED! This was post one of: The Client Send-Ins! More coming soon!

If your customer sports your logo decal, they get a discount. Advertising that works!

July 14, 2019 by John

Hand your customer one of your logo decals. But will they apply it?

Will your clients sport your logo and advertise for you, wherever and whenever they drive? Will they sport a very large logo decal, your business name, across their back window for the world to see?

Well, I see this a lot around our somewhat small group of towns. And every time I see a particular decal, that I happen to see a lot, and it is huge on many vehicle’s back windows, I think the business owner is offering a discount, say 10-15%, or more, if his or her customer keeps the logo decal on their back window.

We found our decal on a customer’s ride, while traveling! THANK YOU!

And what a great idea this is! I would imagine it works, because I remember them. The decals I see around town here are stuck in my mind, and when I need that particular service, I remember the, quite large, decal I’d happened to see blaring back at me, all the time while cruising around town.

So, ideas for your business. Advertising that works…

  • Offer your client one of your logo decals, no charge of course.
  • Bought in bulk, these vinyl decals are relatively cheap.
  • They last for years when applied. We use Oracal 651-series 6-year vinyl for our graphics.
  • Make your logo decal look cool!
  • Offer your loyal customer a discount as long as your logo decal remains applied.
  • Offer greater discounts on your products and services, perhaps, for LARGER decals.
  • Offer greater discounts, depending on how long the customer has had your logo decal applied.
  • Offer a variety of colors and styles, but always the same logo—IMPORTANT for branding!
  • And finally, treat your clients well, as you may already know, and they will be happy to sport your logo decal.

And that’s it for this tip. Try it if you’d like, and if you get results we’d love to hear from you. Here at Full Intensity Grafx, we offer all kinds of decals and use only the best materials. And we’d love to be your provider if you’d like to give this tactic a go. We’ve been in business for 20 years doing just this for many businesses large and small, and have heard great things in return. Many a happy business owner! Thanks for reading, an all the best to you and yours. To prosperous business and success!

What follows are just a few examples of our work, custom lettering decals, business decals, logo decals and more…

towtruck decals graphics
A few red custom text decals we made for a towing company
Some custom construction decals we made for North Tip Engineering and Construction. The top black ones are very popular, as they have no background, and look amazing when applied!
neon yellow vinyl decal close-up
A close-up of the die-cut decal before we cover it with the application tape. As you can see, these have no background. Here, just the yellow will be applied, and the result is spectacular in comparison to regular printed, or bumper sticker style stickers.
our logo decals in red, and two custom lettering decals
Here’s a few of our logo decals in red, and some regular size custom text decals we made for a client who ordered the custom lettering decals automatically off our website. We ship 5 days a week, and most orders ship the same day. All orders come with at least two randomly picked free decals, which you can use to learn how easy they are to apply, or for anything you want. We also include our logo decal with every order.
This client orders a pair of cool splash-style 4×4 decals, and two custom lettering slime decals in color bright yellow-green. How cool is this? Real cool, because they look a thousand times better when applied!
custom lettering decal in diamond-plate silver with bold text
Here’s a nice custom text decal made in the really cool diamond-plate-silver color vinyl. This vinyl will generally last around 1-2 years when applied, yet our standard vinyl will last up to 6 years or more. And we typically see more!
anti-bullying vehicle cruiser with red decals applied
Help stop the violence. We made and shipped these decals to Joe, from Kentucky, and he has created and awesome vehicle to help spread his message. Anti-bullying! See our Facebook page for more customer’s rides, and we also have a large section of our website devoted to sharing our client’s rides photos with the world.

We’re set up outside for the 4th of July! Applying cool custom lettering back window car and truck decals!

July 9, 2019 by John

We’re set up outside at this 4th of July event, and I just had to take a photo of these two cool back window decals I just applied.

What perfect weather here in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. And here’s just TWO out of many of the custom lettering decals we made for a few clients. I shared these on social media and they’re getting rave reviews! Now, first up…

Chevy Camaro with back window vinyl lettering decal sticker
The owner of this bright yellow Camaro wanted his last name in yellow on the back glass. We removed his old decal and applied this new one. Applied on July 4th, 2019 at our outside set-up. Kicking it under the shade, meeting awesome new clients!
Chevrolet Camaro with yellow back window glass vinyl lettering decal sticker
What do you think of this clean, bright-yellow Chevy Camaro with matching yellow vinyl custom lettering decal on its back window! The application was a snap and the owners smile widened as I removed the vinyl application tape to reveal this decal in its full, immaculate glory! A great way to personalize not only your Camaro, if you have one, but whatever car or truck, even boat or custom creation!
Chrysler back window decal in silver vinyl with custom crown decal on the side.
I applied this decal less than an hour after making the owner of the Camaro’s jaw drop. This is a custom Chrysler decal made in silver vinyl with a really cool cursive font. The owner of this ride also wanted it personalized with a crown decal on the sides, to match the custom interior, which is also themed with crowns!
Chrysler with silver back window lettering decal
A close-up of the silver vinyl custom text decal. Hard to see with this photo, but the silver has a nice reflective-like sheen when the sun hits it. We use 6-year Oracal vinyl and my estimate of this decal’s lifespan will be approximately 4-5 years with normal vehicle usage. Silver and gold, I have found, sometimes lasts slightly less, as well the vinyl is rated at 6-year durable when applied on a 90 degree surface, plus or minus 10 degree. But 4-5 five years! This decal is going to customize this Chrysler for some time to come!
And here’s a zoom-out shot of this clean Chrysler, now sporting its owner’s personalized style. This ride now stands out in the sea of rides! How will you customize your ride?

And here’s an assortment of ideas for back window decals. Personalize your car or truck, boat or custom ride, your way. Be creative, do your thing, be you!

And now the 4th of July is over! Here’s our son Todd posing next to out stand. He say’s have a great summer, everyone. Stop by and see us next year, as we set up in the same spot every year, or order from us online. We ship 5 days a week. Order processing 7 days a week! Thank you all, it was a great holiday weekend!
